VT Law Cadet Training Program

The purpose of the Vermont Law Cadet Training Program is to help young people gain knowledge regarding training and responsibilities of Law Enforcement Officers. Hopefully, they will better understand and have greater respect and appreciation of law enforcement officials at all levels. Every Cadet will receive training in firearms, history of law enforcement, emergency first aid, and safety, and the responsibilities of a citizen at college level.

When: Sunday, June 21st - Friday, June 26th at the Vermont Police Academy in Pittsford, VT.

Requirements: Applicant must be a minimum of 16 years of age and currently a Junior or Senior in High School.

Cost: The local American Legion Post will cover the $275.00 fee, they will be the students sponsor.
