Physical Science

The result of a student designed experiment.

Physical science includes the study of chemistry, physics, and other inanimate natural objects.

In chemistry this year, students will start with what matters, matter. We'll discuss the parts of an atom and how they form to make simple molecules. This unit often has an abundance of hands on activities that get students involved and enthusiastic for the content. Students will design their own experiments in order to investigate what happens to mass as chemical changes take place.

Physics will continue our hands on approach to learning with an abundance of hands on lab activities and projects.
