The Honors Theatre Class is busy rehearsing "Property Rites", a 1 Act Drama, to be presented at the VT Drama Council's District Drama Festival at Long Trail School in Dorset, VT on Sat. March 19.  Green Mountain will perform at 4:00 pm. Admission is $5.00. Students will watch each other's performances and participate in workshops throughout the day.

"Kyle Macmanus has invested millions in a high-tech work of art-fifteen human-figure sculptures programmed to perform thousands of movements, monologues, dialogues, and more.  But just when Kyle is about to sell the sculpture, it malfunctions; the figures are alive.  As each one struggles to achieve autonomy, they begin a fatal race against their desperate owner's destructive plan."

23 GM students will present "Property Rites" along with 4 other schools productions, on Saturday, 3/19, in a day [plus] of great student drama.

This is one festival of several held around the state.  At the conclusion of each festival, two school's productions are voted to be presented at the VT State Drama Festival on April 8, 9, in St. Johnsbury.
