Matt Bellace Visits Today

posted Mar 18, 2015, 6:44 AM by anne.sarsfield@trsu.org
Through a combined effort between The Collaborative Coalition, GMUHS and the Department of Health we are able to bring to our school a dynamic and entertaining speaker.  On March 18th at 1:30pm we will have an all school assembly to welcome Dr. Matt Bellace. Matt has been traveling the country as a professional speaker and a stand-up comedian. He has a PhD in clinical neuropsychology and is the author of the book “A Better High.”
His website describes his presentation as: “…(A) Powerful and entertaining presentation focusing on natural highs and how to be a healthy L.E.A.D.er in high school. It has been described as the perfect combination of stand-up comedy, interactive demonstrations and inspirational stories.  Matt empowers students to be leaders in their lives and make changes in their environment.  During the program, he also shares his own story of student prevention leadership, as the founder of a nationally recognized student group at Bucknell University.”
We have heard really wonderful things about Matt as a speaker and we are so excited to have him here at Green Mountain. Here is the link for his website in case you would like to check him out: www.mattbellace.com
