Ten students from Green Mountain, Chester-Andover and Cavendish Town schools represented Green Mountain at the MathCounts
Southeast VT Chapter competition on Saturday February 1. Four mathletes represented GM as a team and six mathletes competed
individually. Six more mathletes from CTES and CAES attended and participated unofficially.

The GM Team members were: Hannah Fleming, Madeline Harper, Ava Hill and Paige Karl. Individual competitors were: Rebecca
Hollander and Deirdre Moore.

Official results from the Southeast Chapter Competition showed GM placing a close fourth in the team competition. Three students
placed in the top 10 (out of 44 total competitors) – Hannah Fleming (GM), Maddie Harper (GM) and Zoe Svec (CAES). Two
additional students scored above the average individual score for the chapter - Rebecca Hollander (GM) and Isaiah Tyrrell (CTES).

Maddie Harper was the Countdown Round champion for the event!
